Hi! I'm Guillem Martínez, a Story Artist and Illustrator based in Las Palmas.

I studied Filmmaking with a major in Animation at ESCAC (Barcelona, 2021), and completed a Master's in Storyboard at Lightbox Academy (Madrid, 2022). Since then, I've worked professionally on animated productions including a 2D short film, a 3D animated series (Cuquín), and a TV show for HBO.

Storyboarding is where filmmaking and drawing meet — and that's exactly where I want to be. I'm drawn to stories with emotional weight, unexpected points of view, and characters that feel real even when they're a wolf or a zombie.

My long-term goal is to direct. Every sequence I board, I'm thinking about the whole film.
